I was most fascinated by the faraway moon in this photo.  I'm not sure why, but it seemed to be rather ethereal compared to the roughness of the rocks (palette knife) and the earthiness of the valley and distant mountain range.

Our two friends appear to be relaxing and taking in the entire expanse of the scene in front of them.  Good advice for all of us.
