These guys are pretty amazing in that they SWIM and HIKE some 7000 miles EACH YEAR to get to the feeding/mating grounds they enjoy.  Is that determination or what?  I certainly hope it's worth it!!!

I had fun painting this a couple of years ago.  It's been in my husband's office since then and he's been hard-pressed to think of parting with it.  But he's 're-doing' his office and I hi-jacked it when he wasn't looking!!  I think it's high-time for someone else to enjoy these fellas, so I hope you like the painting as much as, well, you know who!!
